My theory for my essay is the Theory of Reasoned Action. The theory of reasoned action says that "population-specific cognitions
and social influences" impact people's behaviors and decisions. This means that the most important people's opinions, attitudes, and actions in ones life can directly affect that one person's behaviors. I am applying this theory to the eating habits of students at North Carolina State University. I believe that students are influenced by eating habits of the friends whom they are around daily, and that their eating habits have been assimilated into a similar eating style since beginning school. Below are my survey questions and a link to my survey on SurveyMonkey.

This is a very interesting topic in my opinion. I'm interested to see if students are that influenced by their friends that even their eating habits are effected. I believe your questions are worded well and you have a good survey and theory. Good luck on your experiment.
ReplyDeleteI like this topic and my suggestion is to handout the survey to people in dining halls.
